I see an old coca-cola shack from the time of the Great Depression. As soon as I looked at the picture, I saw the coca-cola shack, and how old it looks. There are no people shown in this picture, however, you can see the coca-cola shack in the front of the picture. Some words that I can see are "coca-cola," and "NEHI." I can see details such as dry grounds and a rigid built building. I think this image was made, because it wanted to show us how much economic problems there were in the Great Depression. I think this, because there is just the Coca- Cola shack and nothing else near it. There is no activity going on in this image, and I think the audience was supposed to be people in the present day. I think this was made a couple years after the Great Depression. I believe that pencil and paper were used to make this image, and there are no other buildings near the coca- cola shack and there's no color to this image. If some else made this today, there would be color, more buildings around it, and more details to be shown.

I see an old corn field that has dried up because of a lack of water. I think the people of this time might be through a time of a drought. The first thing that caught my eye was the dried up corn stalks. There are no people in this image however. This image was taken in Eutaw, Alabama, and there are no words shown. However, the ground looks dried up. I think this image was made to show how much trouble people were in, and how it caused crops and farming to decrease majorly. I think this was taken after the Great Depression as well. Some things that are missing are healthy crops are missing from this picture as well as people. I think this was created with pencil and paper as well. If it were taken today, it would consist of live crops, people, and better details.

I see a grocery store that is called McCollum Grocery Co. I first realized the two grocery stores in the scene. There are no people evident in this image. This scene was taken place in Greensboro, Alabama. This looks like a more modern image. I think this image was taken to show that there were some business taking place during the Great Depression, just not a lot at once. I think this was photographed by a photographer. If it were taken today, the stores would be in better shape, have been more developed, and had a lot more business.

I see a sign that says colored waiting room. Just the sign is shown. I think this was taken during the Great Depression, because it's using segregation by telling blacks that they have to wait in different places than whites. I think this was intended for negroes during the Great Depression. I think this image was photographed. I can learn that people were very racist to others during the Great Depression. If some made this today, there would be no comment about colors going to another area, it would just say 'waiting room.'
Theatre in Leland, Mississippi
I can see that there is a theater for colored people. I think this was taken in the Great Depression as well, because there were people segregating blacks from whites again. The negroes were intended to see this image just like the last image. I think this was also photographed. I learned that people during the Great Depression were very racist to colored people. If this was recreated today, there would be no colored remark on this building, and it would just say theater for everyone.
Sign on restaurant, Lancaster, Ohio
I can see that there is a trade center for white men only. I think this was taken during the Great Depression, because it was a time of racism, and this would only allow whites to trade. Once again, this image was intended for the negroes to see, because the people wanted to make them feel unequal, because they were being treated unequally. I believe that this image was photographed. This taught me that people were very racial back then, because they thought that blacks should be treated unequally. If this was recreated, this photo would have said that trading was accepted by everyone in the country.
